HTML pages can be written in any text editor such as Microsoft Word. The repetitve nature of coding and long addresses make HTML page production tedious and time-consuming. Fortunately, enterprising developers (or frustrated HTML writers) have created some shortcuts to speed the process.
There are two forms of shortcuts: 1) extensions that add functions to existing text editors and 2) HTML editors, written specifically for HTML production.
Most of these HTML editors and extensions are available free for evaluation on the internet, however, commercial applications are becoming more prevalent.
